The SUSS-MIG comprises Music Theory (a learning space), Philharmonic (our very own orchestral music ensemble), Voices (wonderful choral singing), and Jammers (our pop jamming group!)!
OUR SUBGROUPS
PHILHARMONIC
is our orchestra. We aim to provide everyone with an opportunity to be part of an orchestra, regardless of background and training
VOICES
is our choir group. We will venture into other aspects of singing as well such as acapella and chamber.
MUSIC THEORY
is our theory learning group.
A platform for members to discuss and deepen understanding of music theory.
We welcomes members with no background or knowledge of music theory.
JAMMERS
is our jamming group. Pick your favourite tunes to jam and make music together!
OUR EVENTS
FESTIVE PERFORMANCES
We have performances according to festive occasions such as Chinese New Year, National Day and Christmas. We also have special recording made for our school convocation.
MIG HEARTS
We befriend the seniors and provide ukulele workshops. We plan to expand our team and reach out to more!
OPEN MICS
Sing and perform!
SHOWCASES
Music camps and crash courses for our members to play pieces and learn new skills! We are also planning to conduct year-end concerts.
WORKSHOPS
We provide both virtual and physical workshops to our members.
